It’s been a minute!
The start of 2026 has brought some tougher days for many of us.
But I hope this finds you safe and warm and filled with hope for bright days ahead. 🌅

As some of you know, I got shingles in December.
It certainly wasn’t on my radar and I never realized how many people our age have had it!
I wrote about what I used to heal my nerve damage and pain surprisingly quickly, in this post:

As soon as I saw the rash and realized it was the cause of my intense nerve pain, I started following our acute illness protocol (below) which includes Thymogen Alpha 1 – to boost immune response.
It was very helpful, as usual! But there’s more..
While my immune system was preoccupied fighting the virus (Th1 response) it stopped creating autoimmune reactions associated with Th2 / 17 dominant symptoms (eg. Th2 – allergies, mast cells, gut issues, Th17 – joint inflammation)
This happens to many of us (and our kids) anytime we’re sick.
One day, while cleaning dust bunnies and not sneezing (without taking KPV), I decided I must figure out how to sustain the glorious immune shift, long term!

I researched and also experimented with my daughter and we’ve been able replicate those same immune benefits even when we are healthy!
This feels almost miraculous because doctors haven’t previously had much to offer those of us who are very sensitive and have Th2 or Th17 dominance.

TL;DR: The right mix of immune calming / anti-inflammatory peptides alongside Thymogen smooths tolerance so it doesn’t cause flares from abruptly activating / boosting the immune system (when not facing an acute illness).
Plavelle, Larazotide and NAD+ are the ones we’re using and details about how they help more softly usher in Thymogen’s shift are in the above post.
We’ve also been pairing it with TB4 Frag for amazing results, but that isn’t as directly responsible for Thymogen tolerance.
You could say having shingles led me to a new favorite peptide blend (first image below).
For it’s ability significantly turn down reactivity and create body-wide calm, I’m naming it the HUSH Blend.

It’s so effective, I haven’t used KPV in over a month – and have had no reactions to any of my usual autoimmune, allergic or mast cell triggers and no joint inflammation.
Current Peptide Stack
Below is each peptide or small molecule we use.
HUSH Blend ~ new!
We use this one multiple times per day.

Shown in a medium sized capsule (any size will work)
You can instead sprinkle a little of each under your tongue – I often do this.
• Components: Thymogen, TB4 Frag, Plavelle, Larazotide
Me: 1 cap, 4 to 5x a day
My daughter: 1 cap, twice a day
• TB4 Frag can be optional if you don’t need any tissue healing – but who doesn’t?
• Also important to pair with NAD+ Spray (once per day, see below)

• If you need a capsule holder, here’s an affordable option and empty capsules. Usually for these, I just use caps I’ve previously emptied.

* Interestingly, before starting the HUSH Blend, she used it almost daily, but now rarely needs it.

Me: 1 spray (50mcg) sublingual
My Daughter: 2 – 3 sprays (DSIP replaced a large amount of marginally effective herbs / supplements)
