Larazotide Acetate Peptide closes a permeable ‘leaky’ gut

Larazotide acetate (LA) can improve intestinal barrier function by preventing the opening of intestinal tight junctions and “seal” a leaky gut.

Also called N-Acetyl Larazotide

If you’re well versed in leaky gut symptoms, you may want to skip to: Properties of LA.

Non Permeable vs. Leaky Gut:

Possible Symptoms of a Leaky Gut

The list of symptoms looks a bit like leaky gut can contribute to everything. In short, it can cause myriad health issues.

As a result, fixing it can bring wide ranging improvements to:

  • Digestive issues
  • Food allergies or intolerances
  • Brain fog, difficulty concentrating
  • ADD, ADHD, autism symptoms
  • Mood imbalances ~ depression and anxiety
  • Skin issues ~ acne, rosacea, or eczema
  • Hormonal imbalances ~ irregular periods, PMS, or PCOS
  • Seasonal allergies or asthma
  • Autoimmune diseases ~ rheumatoid arthritis, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, Lupus, psoriasis, or celiac disease
  • Chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia

Properties of Larazotide Acetate

  • A single-chain peptide of 8 amino acids
  • Non-systemic, acts locally in the gut
  • Works only while taking it. It’s the only peptide we use that doesn’t make long term changes / healing. Effects typically last 2-3 hours
  • Improves intestinal barrier function by preventing the opening of intestinal tight junctions
    • Does this by blocking zonulin (a protein in the small intestine) from creating spaces in the junctions of the gut
    • With tight junctions, intestinal barrier function is restored
    • It can also rearrange proteins and reduce tension on actin filaments – further ensuring the gut is closed
  • In celiac disease, it prevents gluten from reaching the intestinal submucosas and triggering an inflammatory response
  • Has passed multiple clinical trials
  • Has been studied in children

Our findings

When paired with KPV peptide, it very notably enhances its effectiveness.

• KPV treats gut issues such as SIBO, IBS, snd ulcerative colitis via anti inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal effects.

It can eliminate bloating and gas immediately but complete repair can take weeks to months.

• Larazotide acetate only closes the junctions, and appears to work immediately for us.

It could be very beneficial to use until complete gut healing is achieved and beyond if it continues to be needed.

Our dosage

We began using LA after about 2 weeks of using the KPV peptide. This is because we didn’t know about it, not because it’s what I recommend.

We take them together.

We began with: less than 1/4 cap of the powder from a capsule under the tongue before meals and / or alongside KPV disease. Approx 250 mcg or 1 cap total per day.

Sometimes: we take the same amount but inside of another capsule — still divided and before meals. (It might help reach the gut a bit better in a capsule, the difference is small if any)

Most often for us, sprinkling under the tongue is easier and effective!

***Note: limitless brand is stronger than Biolab.. using 1/8 capsule or less is plenty ***

Please let us know what works best for you!

Under the tongue vs. In a capsule

We could assume that in a capsule would be better because its role is to close tight junctions in the gut.

But from this screenshot, it’s believed that the zonulin pathway (which it acts on) is thoughout the body.

Which means, we may be helping systemic issues – more than researchers have discovered – by taking LA under the tongue.

Die off?

With LA, there should not be related die off symptoms because it’s not “killing” anything.

It should also help reduce die off symptoms from antimicrobials and antifungals (such as KPV) because the dead yeast, bacteria, mold, or toxins cannot escape the gut.

The ideal long-term outcome would be that our GI tract will be healed from KPV (or TB4 Frag / Gastrogen) and we won’t need LA anymore.

Where to purchase?

There were a few studies in the USA on Larazotide Acetate for Celiac and at one time it looked as if it may become a prescription product.

That isn’t the case, not because it doesn’t work, but more because it works too well iykyk.

But it makes it scarcely available.

In the USA it’s available from Limitless Life:

https://www.limitlesslifenootropics.com/product/n-acetyl-larazotide-amidate/

The coupon: QUALITY is for 20% off

You can stack this code with any site wide sale (happens from time to time)

LA & N-Acetyl Larazotide are the same thing

If you can get it when they have a 20% sitewide sale, you can stack the code with their sale. Price will be ~ $96

We tested:

Limitless Acetylated AND Amidated Larazotide

Vs.

Biolab Acetylated Larazotide (below)

Limitless is the winner.

With the same exact meals, same time of day etc.. and 2 weeks of observations, for me, it works better.

Limitless: I can eat very fatty foods (not recommending this!) with no GI rumblings at all.

Biolab: Very slight rumblings in the gut 😌

Both of these products work! I don’t want you to think Biolab doesn’t.

But Limitless with the added Amidation works better.

Why does this matter?

Acetylation slows enzymes from breaking down the peptide – so they last longer

Amidation alters the charge and “stickiness” helping it reach deeper – more effective.

Biolab Shop is overseas and ships to the USA.

https://mybiolabshop.com/peptides/229-larazotide-acetate-250-mcg-60-capsules.html

The coupon: RESTORE gave me a discount of about 7% off my purchase

Many banks will decline the purchase until you authorize it.

It’s the same quantity 250mcg / 60caps

Note: The USA free shipping threshold is not what you initially see, you must enter your address for the actual amount.

Comment from group member: “For those having issues ordering from Biolabs: try to contact them via chat in the morning – give your name and order info, you can send payment via PayPal to the address Biolabshop.uk@gmail.com (Laura Pyszora) They immediately responded and shipped!”

Tip: I had to select “wire transfer” so I could get the order to process and get an order number to include with the PayPal info.

You can also contact them via what’s app at ‪+44 7493 197980‬

This is all somewhat confusing and I recommend buying peptides from other vendors when possible!

A note on why some peptides (often overseas products) are labeled “Not for human consumption” and “For research use only”

Peptides are in a regulatory gray area, most of them being studied in approved clinical trials but not yet approved by agencies such as the U.S. FDA or the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

Labeling their products this way ensures there is compliance with possible future regulations.

Labeling the products for research use only allows them to provide peptides for further study and experimentation without making specific therapeutic claims.
