Reconstituting Peptides

To receive what you need, you must order products as the spray version. Follow links from this page if you’re not sure.

If you have a spray you need to reconstitute, don’t worry – You’ve got this!

Parts you need:

  • Peptide in a vial or for non-lyophilized they are often already in the spray bottle
  • Deionized water (10mL vial) OR saline (two 5mL ampules)
  • Syringe
  • Nasal Spray bottle (which we also use sublingually)

Storage before reconstituting:

You will find varied advice, but keeping them at room temp for up to 2 years (lyophilized) a bit less if non-lyophilized – has worked well for us and many others. Freezing is no longer recommended.

• Always refrigerate reconstituted sprays (they are only peptides and water – no preservatives)

Refrigerate after mixing.

Tip!

If you inject air of an equal amount as you wish to extract into the vacuum sealed bottles it will make extraction much easier!

How to order any dry peptide vial and DIY it into a nasal spray

Note: These vials are not powders that can be used like a powder supplement, they are highly concentrated and need to be reconstituted in liquid.

• On the Limitless website you can purchase products that are not designated as spray, sold as a vial only.

• You can make them into a spray by simply ordering the sprayer kit separately.

Non- Lyophilized Versions

Please see the note (above, blue section on left) that some bottles appear empty.

– Often this version will come already in the spray bottle and you will not have a separate small vial.

If you have no separate small vial, simply put the deionized water into the spray bottle.

  • If you have a pop tab on your deionized water, you don’t even need a syringe.
  • Just peel off the top and pour your water in!

– If you do have your non-lyophilized peptides in a separate vial (rare), then you will watch the first video and follow the same method.

We receive numerous questions about sprayers for non-lyophilized peptides appearing empty at our group — some of them truly do appear completely empty except for residue / dust, that is normal.

Biolab Instructions

Below are their written instructions, but you will follow the same video above.

Only difference – Instead of a 10mL glass vial of deionized water, you will receive two 5 mL saline plastic ampules.

They are interchangeable.

FAQ

I left my reconstituted spray out of the refrigerator one night overnight, is it ok?

For that short of a time it’s more about the bacteria than the peptide integrity — There are no preservatives.

If you’re using it as a sublingual spray that doesn’t matter as much.

As a nasal spray, it could matter more.

Also, if it’s consistently unrefrigerated the peptides will degrade more quickly.

All that said, you’re probably ok for one night.

Do I need to refrigerate or freeze the vial before mixing?

No you don’t – room temp is how they suggest to store.

They used to suggest freezing and I used to do that but then they changed the instructions so I’m not sure it matters but leaving them room temp is easy and fine.

Refrigerators are humid so they are not recommended until after reconstitution.

Never freeze a reconstituted spray.
